We are looking for a passionate and loyal Team Leader/Deputy Practice Manager, who is able to think on their feet, be innovative, and think outside the square.

You will be working closely with the Practice Manager as Team Leader across two sites, Ivanhoe and Diamond Creek

We are not a typical practice, as we provide a service that prides itself on excellent customer service and clinical care.

The Clinic is private billing and services a lot of different procedures.

Our Team Leader will have some experience with Medicare and BestPractice Software; however we are mostly interested in someone who understands customer service, has exquisite attention to detail, is confident to take a leadership role and motivate his/her staff to excel in their role.

**The Team Leader will be involved in**:
The Team Leader is the first point of contact for all staff, and is responsible for the daily operations of the clinic which includes, but is not limited to;
- Management of reception and nursing team
- Management of rosters and leave for all employees and independent doctors
- Liaising and working closely with Practice Manager
- Assistance with Practice accreditation and quality improvement
- General administration including reception
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice
- Assistance with recruitment of staff
- Develop organisation systems, policies and procedures to maximise productivity
- Reporting to practice owner and practice manager
- Maintain and control debtors and creditors
- Knowledge of the Medicare system (Services Australia) including billing, batching, online claiming, MBS interpretation and PRODA including PIP and WIP protocols
- Create a productive, friendly, and enjoyable work environment
- Ability to build a professional relationship with doctors, administration and nursing staff, allied health practitioners, patients and third-party vendors
- Conflict resolution skills

**Beneficial to the role**:

- Knowledge of Medicare, DVA, TAC and Workcover
- Expertise in Best Practice, Automed

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
