The Role

We are looking for an experienced international administration professional with highly developed organisation and communication skills, to coordinate ECU’s Learning Abroad (Global Student Mobility) priorities, with a particular focus on inbound programming.

In this Maternity Cover role, you will work closely with a large range of internal and external stakeholders to develop and support multiple inbound Study Abroad and Study Tour programs.

In particular, the role will also be responsible for the coordination of the largest Japanese-Australian student mobility program, the Tokyo City University Australia Program (TAP), including the Experiencing Australia Program and ECU student volunteer components.

Key Criteria

High attention to detail, especially in the preparation of reports, project management plans, presentations and business cases/briefing notes;
Financial knowledge, including the ability to work with set resources to achieve goals, cost inbound programs, and track expenditure

Demonstrated ability to develop educational and cultural programs in collaboration with academic and/or other stakeholders

A thorough knowledge of and/or experience in international student recruitment activities and/or tendering for new business opportunities;
Experience in preparing, negotiating and managing contracts or agreements, preferably in an international or academic context;
Excellent communication skills with the ability to form good working relationships with stakeholders and proactively attend to their continuity and

Proven ability to lead large cohorts and recruit volunteers throughout programs, including day-to-day communication and activities

An understanding of contemporary Learning Abroad (Global Student Mobility) issues, including virtual programs and government funding systems and policies, and/or experience in International and/or Higher Education would be advantageous.

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Courage and Personal Excellence.

Benefits & Remuneration
This Fixed Term position attracts a remuneration of $82,658 - $89,180 pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
