Support thousands of people living with illness, disability or injury live life to their fullest potential. **Job Description**: As a Rehabilitation Consultant with IPAR, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day with the ongoing support and mentoring from discipline specific leaders and managers. In this diverse role, you will be working as part of a driven and energetic team of healthcare professionals providing holistic occupational rehabilitation support through a range of activities including: - Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks) - Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs - Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals - Providing evidence-based psychological interventions - Completing a variety of assessments using your clinical skills. Including but not limited to Initial assessments to form a diagnosis, treatment plans, psychosocial barriers to employment and Vocational Assessments for injured workers. **Qualifications**: - Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences or Rehabilitation Counselling - Full or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or eligibility for full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC) as a Rehabilitation Counsellor is mandatory - A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the associated health benefits - A current driver license and access to their own vehicle Additional Information New team members are matched up with a buddy and enjoy comprehensive induction and employee assistance programs combined by ongoing workplace mentoring.
