**Join our Sterilisation Services Team as a Sterilisation Services Attendant**

**About the role**:
Reporting to the Nurse Manager Sterilisation Services, this role carries out a range of sterilising operations which result in the timely and efficient supply of equipment, reusable medical devices, medical/surgical consumables and anaesthetic equipment to the hospital. Duties for the role will include:

- Contributing to the development of an integrated team approach and culture which is highly responsive to the needs of our consumers,
- Undertaking training as required and maintaining required skills and knowledge applicable to the role,
- Undertaking reprocessing of reusable medical devices in accordance with AS5369:2023,
- Monitoring, reporting and recording any malfunctions of equipment or issues of non-compliance.

**About you**:

- Completion of AQF Certificate 3 in Sterilisation Services or equivalent and at least 560 hours satisfactory in service experience within a sterile supply department,
- Ability to interpret complex instructions and procedures,
- Experience working well as an individual or a team member in a multi-disciplinary team environment,
- Proven experience in delivering high quality and safe care consistent with the National Safety and Quality Health Care Service Standards. (Mandatory for all clinical positions.)

**Please note**:that this position is multi-classed as either a **WHA3**, **WHA4** or **WHA5** and classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.
