**Come join the Sterilisation Services team as a Sterilisation Services Attendant**

**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Nurse Manager, as the Sterilisation Services Attendant, you will be responsible for a high standard of work, providing a timely efficient and effective service associated with the reprocessing of reusable medical devices. Duties in this role include:

- Sorting, decontaminating, inspecting and packing of reusable medical devices prior to disinfection/sterilisation.
- Utilisation of manual/mechanical methods to decontaminate reusable medical devices.
- Inspection of reusable medical devices to ensure devices are clean and functioning correctly.
- Packaging and labelling of single and trays of reusable medical devices.
- Utilisation of High-Level Disinfection/sterilisation of reusable medical devices utilising steam or low temperature sterilisation.

**About you**:
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experience working as an individual or as a team member in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- The ability to interpret complex instructions and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to cooperate with staff at all levels.
- Sound literacy and numeracy skills
