About this role

  • Processing, maintaining and distributing reusable medical devises required by Operating Theatres and Wards
  • Collecting contaminated reusable medical devises from wards and designated departments for delivery to CSSD
  • Packaging equipment for sterilisation
  • Assisting with validation and routine control of decontamination and sterilisation process
  • Attending to the transportation, storage, rotation and handling of supplies
  • Monitors decontamination/sterilisation process, checks and maintain all reprocessing and sterilisation records.

About You

It is expected that you will possess a Certificate 111 in Sterilisation (or similar) along with:

  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in sterilisation within a hospital setting (essential)
  • A strong customer service-orientated mindset
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A methodical approach to work and a high level of attention to detail
  • The ability to comply with quality standards, policy and procedures

Hours

This is a casual role. You will work varied shifts across a 5 day roster, between the hours of 6.30am to 11.00pm. You must be available to work flexibly between these hours.
