**Key duties for this role will include**:

- Provide diverse learning experiences;
- Provide an inclusive environment for all children, their families and employees;
- Working with all staff to ensure the provision of a safe and stimulating learning environment for children;
- Ability to work with families to strengthen relationships and encourage their involvement and engagement in all aspects of service operation;
- Demonstrate innovation and thinking outside the box to take the service to the highest level of quality;
- Collaborate with the Nominated Supervisor, sharing a common focus on excellence in all areas;
- Understand the importance of the quality improvement process in order to support the Nominated Supervisor with implementation of the QIP and identify areas of improvement;
- Mentor, support, inspire and guide;
- Be informative, approachable and role model best practice at all times;
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations and our policies and procedures;
- Ensure provision of a service which meets and exceeds the national quality framework and standards;
- Set continuous improvement plans and support the service to achieve these;
- Facilitate service meetings;
- Engage in marketing the service to prospective families;
- Engage with families in a professional, positive, and patient manner at all times;
- Building strong, positive, professional and ongoing relationships with families and the local community.

To be considered for these roles the successful applicants will have
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care;
- Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates;
- Current NSW Working With Children Check;
- Child Protection Training;
- **Previous Room Leader experience in the Preschool room;**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Comprehensive working knowledge of EYLF and the NQS;
- Proven ability to create positive relationships;
- A willingness to show initiative and be proactive
- The ability to use a computer and all relevant technology

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

- Newtown, NSW 2042: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (required)
