**The Role**
The Arabic news service is part of our News and Current Affairs department. The Arabic team also works with our existing Arabic-speaking team in the Audio Language and Content division, a team which delivers radio, podcasts, online and social media content.
The Executive Producer will drive the overall news agenda and program strategy; manage the performance and output of the team, monitor editorial standards and compliance; collaborate with other news and current affairs teams across the business to identify, develop and promote distinctive and exclusive stories.
**About you**
We are looking for someone who has a:
- Demonstrated understanding of the Arabic speaking community in Australia
- Television reporting experience is a must and online and audio experience are an advantage
- Demonstrated experience in editorial leadership, with experience building content strategies and delivering on those
- Experience leading a team, and a passion for coaching and developing people
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders with strong collaboration skills
- Demonstrated financial and business acumen
- Proven ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines and problem-solve
