Job Opportunity: Casual Support Workers - Jimboomba & Carina Heights - Immediate Start

Vibe Independence Disability Support is seeking up to four passionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Jimboomba and Carina Heights. This is a casual position with extensive hours available in Jimboomba, including potential weekend work, and specific shifts in Carina Heights. We are looking for compassionate individuals to provide person-centered care tailored to the unique needs of our participants.

**Position 1: Jimboomba - Male Youth, 8 Years Old (Before/After School Care)**
- Number of Support Workers Needed: 1-2
- Participant Details: An 8-year-old male
- Role Details: Provide person-centered support to enhance independence and well-being, including before and/or after school care and some weekend support
- Hours: Flexible before and/or after school hours, with potential weekend work (specific times to be confirmed)
- Specific Requirement: Must be male
- Diagnosis: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

**Position 2: Jimboomba - Female Youth, 12 Years Old (Before/After School Care)**
- Number of Support Workers Needed: 1-2
- Participant Details: A 12-year-old female
- Role Details: Provide person-centered support to enhance independence and well-being, including before and/or after school care and some weekend support
- Hours: Flexible before and/or after school hours, with potential weekend work (specific times to be confirmed)
- Specific Requirement: Must be female
- Diagnosis: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

**Position 3: Jimboomba - Female (School Hours)**
- Number of Support Workers Needed: 1
- Participant Details: An adult female
- Role Details: Provide person-centered support to enhance independence and well-being, during school hours and some weekend support
- Hours: School hours, with potential weekend work (specific times to be confirmed)
- Specific Requirement: Must be female
- Diagnosis: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

**Position 4: Carina Heights - Female (Daytime Support)**
- Number of Support Workers Needed: 1
- Participant Details: A female requiring daytime support
- Role Details: Provide person-centered support to enhance independence and well-being
- Specific Requirement: Must be female
- Diagnosis: Not specified

**Key Responsibilities (All Roles)**:

- Deliver person-centered support to enhance participants’ quality of life
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care (where applicable), meal preparation, and medication administration
- Facilitate community participation and social activities
- Promote independence and well-being
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation

**Essential Requirements (All Roles, Strictly Enforced)**:

- Certifications (valid and current, or willingness to obtain):

- Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Yellow Card (NDIS Worker Screening Check)
- First Aid Certificate
- Qualification: Certificate III in Individual Support or related field (or willingness to obtain)
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Transportation: Reliable vehicle and a valid Australian Driver’s License
- Specific Requirements:

- **Jimboomba** (Position 1): Must be male
- **Jimboomba** (Positions 2 and 3): Must be female
- **Carina Heights** (Position 4): Must be female
