**Team**

Kennedys HR team supports the firm with all people related matters across Business Partnering, Diversity & Inclusion, CSR, Learning & Development, Operations, and Recruitment. We are a global team with HR presence in Australia, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore, US and the UK and our office managers in other countries have involvement in HR.

The team in Australia is made up of one Senior HR Manager, one HR Manager - Recruitment, one HR Advisor and one HR Administrator who support the Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane offices.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the HR Manager - Recruitment in the management of the full recruitment cycle for Lawyer, Business Services and Secretarial Recruitment nationally.
- Develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, particularly with Partners and Business Services Managers.
- Arrange interviews and conduct pre-screening calls with direct applicants to assess suitability, where appropriate.
- Liaise with external recruitment agencies to provide briefs on existing and new roles. Monitor and review performance of suppliers, negotiate rates and hold agency briefings.
- Provide ongoing external benchmarking and highlight any issues or market trends to the wider HR team.
- Work closely with the wider global recruitment team to share knowledge and ensure best practices are maintained globally.

**Required experience**
- 2+ years of experience as a legal recruiter or a legal resourcer, either from an external agency or in-house within the professional services sector.
- Applicants with a legal background/qualification looking to make a change into recruitment will also be considered.
- Quick-learner with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
- Organised and methodical, capable of prioritising & managing multiple roles at any one time
- A confident manner to build relationships and manage key stakeholders within the business
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- A team player with a proactive approach.
