**THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT (accounts payable officer) WILL BE**:

- Processing and coding supplier invoices correctly and in a timely manner
- Maintain and update purchase order register
- Preparation for authorisation and upload of invoices into bank system
- Attending to Accounts Payable queries promptly and professionally, and escalating any unknown issues appropriately
- Working cooperatively with the accounts team to meet operational and team objectives
- Monthly reconciliation of Supplier/Vendor statements
- Resolving daily invoices and claims
- Respond to external auditor queries
- Regular communication and follow-up with suppliers
- Supporting the team with ad-hoc duties as required
- General administration duties as needed

The ideal applicant will possess the following attributes:

- Advanced computer software skills, including Excel (VLOOKUP and pivot table)
- Experience with accounting software such as Greentree (MYOB) preferable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with suppliers
- Meticulous attention and eye for detail with strong initiative
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Honest and Loyal
