**The Role**

Reporting into the Facilities Services Manager within our Corporate Services team this role is responsible for the efficient daily operations of our mailroom. This includes sorting incoming mail, distribution, preparing outgoing mail for dispatch, managing incoming and outgoing couriers. Other tasks of the role include
- Coordinate and provide advice/assistance for interstate and international deliveries.
- Check and distribute newspapers daily to appropriate work areas
- Housekeeping of our department’s section of online documentation portal.
- Provide cover for the Helpdesk Co-ordinator when required and record requests from staff using the Footprints helpdesk solution.
- Set up events, conference and meeting rooms when required.
- Minor functions and facilities requests such as light furniture movements and other ad-hoc requests
- Daily driving services for SBS private mini-bus lunch run to Chatswood.

**About you**
- The mailroom is an active, dynamic area that works closely with all SBS employees, so you will be a great communicator, have strong stakeholder management skills, team player and a passion for helping others.
- ** As the role includes driving services for the SBS private mini-bus run, a current and valid NSW Driver Licence is essential.**:

- You are the face of the Corporate Services team, so demonstrated experience in customer service.
- Well-developed organisational skills, attention to detail, able to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately record requests and follow up ensuring tasks are completed to satisfaction.
- Competency in computer skills including experience in Outlook, Excel and Word. Experience with a helpdesk / service request system is desirable, and a general comfortability with / interest in computers and technology.
- Passionate and interested in learning about new technology. Meeting room AV systems will need basic troubleshooting for internal stakeholders.
- Able to work rostered shift work within the hours of 08.00 and 17.30, Monday to Friday.
- Ability to undertake manual handling for general maintenance, setting up events, moving furniture etc. is an inherent requirement of the role.
