**About the role**:
The Content Creator plays a key role in the research, production and delivery of brilliant digital content, supporting our mission to reduce the impact of cancer for all Australians. Our audiences are many and varied. Not only do we create content for people affected by cancer, we also work on national integrated marketing campaigns and everything in between. We create tailored messaging for all our audiences, including 18-24yr olds on social media, rich microsites and powerful myth busters.

Our work spans all areas of cancer, from prevention to early detection, support, advocacy and research. Join a passionate, focused and award-winning marcoms team that draws on experts in paid, owned and earned media, as well as audience research, search and UX to deliver content across campaigns and always on activities.

In this role you will work daily with colleagues to create amazing values-based content. You will have the opportunity to help deliver strength-based content of the highest creative quality and maximise engagement.

You will have:

- Experience in creating content for digital platforms, including writing high quality long-form articles; short-form promotional content; micro-copy; writing for SEO.
- Ability to translate complex information into accessible and engaging messaging and content for a range of audiences.
- Experience of creating and producing content for social media platforms.
- Experience in user-centred content development and optimisation
- Strong research and copy-editing skills
- Understanding of accessibility guidelines and able to write in plain language to improve content readability.
- Experience in adapting your own and others’ content for use across multiple audiences and multiple channels.
- The ability to work with a range of audiences and related goals.
- Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously & prioritise your own work
- Ability to work in a complex structure and adapt accordingly
- Excellent time-management skills and experience delivering to tight deadlines
