**About the Role**

The opportunity has become available for a **Clinical Midwifery Manager to join our amazing team in Public Obstetrics and Gynaecology**.

The Clinical Midwife Manager position provides clinical leadership, effective management and is responsible for standards of nursing practice and monitoring client/patient care to ensure safe effective and efficient service provision. The position provides operational and management support across all areas of service delivery, within our 24-bed inpatient Obstetric and Gynaecology Ward, eight birth suites with assessment room and triage area.

**What we are looking for**
- Eligible for registration in the category of Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated well developed leadership and management skills that influence and progresses clinical care, policy, and collaboration.
- Extensive clinical and professional knowledge in midwifery and gynaecology that evidences expert clinical skills.
- Demonstrated well developed skills and experience in quality improvement and the development of new systems of care.
