**About the team**:
**AusIndustry **provides services to small and medium size businesses. For over 25 years AusIndustry has been a valuable hub, nurturing partnerships and networks, providing connections, and helping businesses to navigate the local, state and federal government support to get the best outcomes for each business.

The **Business Outreach and Engagement Branch **supports businesses to access government services, in a simpler and more streamlined way, and tell their story to inform better decision making. It does this by:

- Directly supporting businesses to grow, access services and grants, and make connections and networks.
- Listening to businesses’ stories and experiences and harnessing a large range of data across program areas to provide insights and intelligence to policy areas and decision makers, directly influencing the policy cycle.

The **Business Outreach Network **section is the department’s front-line, face-to-face national service offering. The national network is made up of two Managers and 31 Regional Managers who are located across regional centres and capital cities. The network includes two First Nations Business Regional Managers for Qld and NSW to provide additional and targeted support to First Nations businesses in those states.

**AusIndustry’s Regional Managers **are based across Australia to connect businesses to government initiatives, and to connect business insights to policy-makers.

Our value proposition is to provide personalised and tailored assistance to help businesses achieve their goals. The network of experienced and dedicated Regional Managers offer a solution to businesses by providing a succinct and simple interpretation of government policy, programs and services. They listen to and understand business needs, help businesses navigate local, state and Commonwealth Government support mechanisms, nurture relationships, and provide valuable connections.

Regional Managers also collect vital intelligence from their networks to update and inform a range of government agencies in real time. The flow of information highlights changes in the economy, the labour market, supply chain health and other issues facing industry in the regions.
