**The opportunity**:
We are currently seeking a Regional Manager for a newly created role in New South Wales.
This is an exciting career opportunity to join the leadership team of Fitness and Lifestyle Group, to support Fitness First operations across a number of our clubs in Sydney, in the newly created NSW Coast region.
The Regional Manager (RM) has a pivotal role, taking responsibility for club performance across their region, overseeing critical business drivers including EBITDA, Member Growth, PT Growth & Retention, Employee Engagement, GX Performance and Member Satisfaction. Reporting directly to the State Operations Manager, the RPM is fundamental in supporting our teams to deliver the best experience and service to our members while also achieving our financial targets and goals and will have responsibility for building a thriving club portfolio within their region.

**Key duties and responsibilities include**:

- Maximise the financial performance of the region by growing revenue and EBITDA.
- Provision of strategic support to achieve monthly sales budgets, member growth targets, secondary revenue streams.
- Manage P&L cost lines to budget.
- Improve team member capability through focuses on performance management, individual development, and succession planning.
- Empower and coach club management to deliver results and execute on sales, customer service, and fitness product delivery.
- Ensure all company WH&S practices are complied with and alert support teams of in-club risks and hazards
- Identify opportunities through financial reporting to improve individual club performance
- Lead and coordinate training and recognition opportunities through regular regional meetings/ launches
- Ensure the recruitment, supervision, training, development and associated management of all independent contractors (Rental Trainers) within the region
- Ensure the club group fitness departments achieve their objectives which includes the overall performance of club timetables, wage cost management, member attendance, class quality and ensuring CMs support the daily operational requirements of the department

**To be successful in this role you will have**:
Essential
- 5+ years in an Operations Management role managing medium to large-sized teams.
- Proven track record achieving financial results/KPIs in a customer centric environment.
- Managing large teams to achieve results and generating buy-in to company strategies.
- Ability to influence key stakeholders at multiple levels of the business.
- Ability to inspire, coach, and develop talent.

Desirable
- Bachelor of Business or other related tertiary degree
- Multi-site management
- Previous experience in the Health and Fitness Industry.
