**About the Opportunity**

Currently an exciting opportunity exists within Lactalis for an experienced supply chain and logistics professional to manage inventory across our SEQ distribution network.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the finished product stock controls on a daily basis, managing the WMS platform supporting the operations team in productivity target attainment and driving outcomes across both the provision of excellent customer service whilst simultaneously minimising company losses through stock dumps and poor inventory management. The Inventory manager must have a strong focus on policy, process and controls within the distribution centre and cold-rooms, and ensure the appropriate resources are allocated to achieve results across these areas. The role requires an outward focus, demonstrated through the performance of activities such as SOH reviews, days cover, fulfilment, rotation, MLOR and lead time reviews, DC capacity to support a plan.

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate 5+ years in inventory management, processes and system driven abilities to improve performance, ability to lead and develop a team, and a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. Exposure to SAP would be advantageous but is not essential. You will work well within a team environment and have a genuine commitment to getting it right the first time, every time. We are seeking an applicant with strong analytical skills paired with the pragmatism and tenacity to drive successful outcomes across the management of inventory across the SEQ distribution network.
