We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced **ECT - Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent with ACECQA approval - Full VIT Registration (Level 2 or above)**to join our busy 3-5-year-old room of up to 30 children. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic, play-based program that encourages curiosity, exploration, friendships, and intentional learning experiences.

**About the role**
- **Part-time** - 27 hours per week (including planning time)
- **Hours**: Monday-Thursday 9am-3pm, Friday 9am-5pm
- **Start Date**: ASAP
- **End Date**: End of April 2026 (potential to become permanent)
- **Pay**: Worker Retention Grant approved centre therefore current hourly rate is 10% above Award rate with a further 5% increase in December 2025. Hourly rate negotiable accordingly to level and experience

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver programming that aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards, with a strong commitment to best practice
- Collaborate with families to extend learning outcomes
- Lead, mentor and support a team of three educators, including a second kinder teacher and a Cert III educator
- Foster a stimulating, safe, and welcoming learning environment
- Engage in continuous personal and professional development
- Plan and host biannual parent-teacher interviews and an annual information evening for families
- Use School Readiness Funding strategically to meet curriculum and community needs
- Ensure all activities are well-planned, engaging, and developmentally appropriate

**Essential Attributes & Skills**
- Deep understanding of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards
- Current knowledge and understanding of the Child Safe Standards (CCYP)
- Extensive experience planning and delivering programs for 3-5-year-olds
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Professional, mature, and reflective approach to teaching
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and presentation

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Current VIT Registration (Victorian Institute of Teaching)
- Up-to-date certifications: Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR, and First Aid
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $30.47 - $51.65 per hour

Expected hours: 28 per week
