**The Role**
This is a federal APS government position(s) that directly supports Defence’s Space and High Frequency (HF) Radar capabilities.
The positions are Governance Manager - assuring that Defence makes informed decisions that align with legislation and policy, and delivery capability to our Soldiers, Sailors and Aviators. The positions enable training, finance, travel, program implementation, records management, procurement and quality assurance. Your work will directly support critical project success.
Example tasks are: leading consultation teams to capture feedback and agree action plans; compilation, review and reporting compliance - status and potential improvements to how we do business; developing detailed financial and commercial business cases that support capability approvals. The employment levels are EL1.
**About our Team**
Do you want to support what Defence does ‘up there’ in the atmosphere? You can - our Space or High Frequency (HF) Radar teams know all about the atmosphere, and how we use it to defend Australia, and you can too.
We are Wide Area & Space Surveillance Systems Program Office (WASS SPO), part of the Group that buys and sustains equipment for the Australian Defence Force (ADF). We are an integrated team of contracted, ADF and APS staff - and we are seeking new APS members right now.
You DO NOT need to have worked in Defence But you do need to be motivated to learn about Space and/or HF Radar to be in our team.
