**How will I Help?**
The Head of Platform Product Delivery role sits within BT’s broader Platforms product team with overarching management of BT’s Asgard and Panorama Platforms. The role is responsible for ensuring that the Platforms products are operating as designed and in turn are compliant from a legal, risk and tax perspective working closely with Product Management to achieve this and in turn deliver outcomes in the long-term interest of our customers and business.
This role will be responsible for fostering a healthy and high-performance culture through improved team engagement, collaboration, satisfaction and growth. You will help drive the team to seek innovative approaches to deliver business objectives and consider potential opportunities and challenges that the business may face.
Other Accountabilities Include
- Accountability for preparation and publishing of disclosure documents
- Work alongside product management and product development teams to ensure cross product consistency of forms, business rules and procedures
- Adherence to policies, procedures and regulation ensuring compliance incidents and breaches are reported and solutions implemented
- End to end management of IBS relationship
- Management of operational functions associated with the product for example EOFY
- Act as a SME/Oversight of change management initiatives which also includes business testing of change initiatives being implemented
- Accountable for the management of product collateral including web content, calculators, statement content
- Drive and/or contribute to key projects and initiatives as a lead and/or SME working with key stakeholders internally and externally to refine product offering and further develop understanding of the regulatory environment as it relates to platforms product
- Act as an escalation point for the resolution of difficult adviser and service queries across super, pension and investments
- Board engagement to ensure fulfilment of duties as delegated by the relevant Boards including compilation of Board papers and reporting as required
- Risk management and effective use of key risk management processes in accordance with frameworks and policies together with laws and regulations: including but not limited to issues management, regulatory relationships, customer complaints
- Management of performance and development of both direct reports and broader team members

**What do I need?**
To be successful you will have the following:
Experience
- At least 10+ years experience in financial services with preference of proven experience in product management/product development
- Tertiary education in a business or finance related discipline
- Knowledge of wealth management products namely superannuation and investments
- Experience in leadership or similar role within Financial Services industry specifically in areas of superannuation, investments and insurance
- In-depth knowledge of competitors and industry trends
- RG146 (desired but not mandatory)
Skills & Capabilities
- Leadership and relationship/stakeholder management capability
- Project management/project co-ordinator experience with demonstrable experience in delivering business outcome
- Ability to plan/implement responsibilities and work autonomously or as part of a diverse collaborative team
- Demonstrated success achieving goals and targets whilst operating under pressure with ability to adapt to changing conditions
- Advanced decision making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent relationship management skills (negotiating, influencing, driving to achieve outcomes)
- Ability to work cross functionality to achieve objectives
- Ability to think strategically to solve problems and make appropriate recommendations - advanced business acumen
