**Brief Overview**

Work closely with the Head Of the team to provide advice and support on all compliance matters, including the supervision and maintenance of the compliance management framework and embed a strong compliance culture into processes and procedures.

**Role and Responsibilities**

You will assist the Head Of to lead, manage and evolve effective compliance management processes including:

- Implement and embed the Compliance Management Framework, including policies, processes and systems
- Overseeing the management and reporting of compliance incidents and breaches
- Contributing towards the continuous improvement of the regular quarterly board and executive committee reporting
- Support all levels of staff across the organisation to understand their compliance obligations
- Ensuring that appropriate level of compliance training is in place and is completed according to regulatory and business requirements; and
- Assist in the maintenance of the Regulatory Affairs Register, including oversight of regulatory engagements, lodgements, and media monitoring

**Desired experience**
- Proven experience in Compliance, ideally within an APRA regulated environment
- Proactive approach and ability to work in a tight knit team with competing priorities
- Ability to interpret regulation and legislation, as well as standards and guidelines
- Excellent and effective interpersonal, written and communication skills and attention to detail
- Innovative mindset with ability to think the bigger picture and present new ideas to ways of doing things
