**The Opportunity**
**Salary Offer: $135,000 - $150,000 per annum + Superannuation**
We're seeking a driven and technically skilled _Cyber Security Operations Team Lead_ to join our growing cyber security team. Reporting to the Head of Cyber Security (CISO), this is a hands-on leadership role focused on protecting RWWA’s digital environment through proactive threat detection, incident response, and operational resilience. **What You'll Do**
- Lead day-to-day operations of RWWA’s managed Security Operations Centre (SOC), overseeing threat detection, incident triage, and response.
- Coordinate vulnerability management, penetration testing, and security assessments in collaboration with internal and external teams.
- Support alignment to NIST CSF 2.0 and the WA Government Cyber Security Policy, contributing to internal governance and risk processes.
- Build team capability, deliver training and awareness initiatives, and foster a high-performing and collaborative culture.

**Qualifications**:
**About You**
- Proven ability to lead managed SOC functions, real-time threat detection and response, and coordinate incident investigations and mitigation activities.
- Proficiency in operating and tuning security platforms. Desirable experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Tenable.io, ThreatLocker, Palo Alto GlobalProtect, and cloud-native systems.
- Strong understanding of vulnerability identification, prioritisation, and remediation coordination, aligned with business risk and supported by appropriate tooling.
- Comprehensive understanding of security frameworks including NIST CSF 2.0, ASD’s ISM, and the WA Government Cyber Security Policy, with the ability to align security operations and controls with organisational policies, standards, and regulatory obligations.
- Hold a recognised tertiary qualification in information technology or cyber security, relevant professional certifications, or can demonstrate equivalent extensive industry experience.
