Manager Governance and Compliance

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our cyber security governance frameworks, policies, and assurance activities.

  • This role involves developing, implementing, and evaluating cyber security governance frameworks, policies, and assurance activities.
  • You will identify compliance gaps and collect evidence to demonstrate alignment with the NSW Cyber Security Policy.
  • The successful candidate will coordinate activities to meet key deadlines set by Cyber NSW.
  • You will act as the primary liaison with Cyber NSW during the Assurance Framework Pilot.
  • Provide strategic advice, progress updates and escalate risks to senior leadership.
  • Engage with technical and business teams to gather evidence and drive action.
  • Prepare high-level reports, briefs and recommendations to inform decision-making.
What We're Looking For
  • Significant experience in cyber security, risk, compliance, or governance roles.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to deliver results in complex environments.
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive stakeholder relationships and competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience preparing strategic reports, briefs, and advice.
  • Tertiary qualifications in cybersecurity, risk, compliance, or a related discipline.
