The Finance Domain DI Product Owner enables realisation of the Finance and data vision and requirements for design & build within the Digital Insurer program. The role ensures Data Engineering & Technology (DET) squads within the Digital Insurer program are set up for success by ensuring clear requirements are elicited, documented and provided to the DET squads, and acts as a representative for business stakeholders with knowledge of their respective areas.

**What you’ll do**
- Collaborates with Finance SMEs to analyse business requirements and create technical and business specifications.
- Ensures alignment between business and technology goals during requirements gathering and squad delivery.
- Supports backlog prioritization for discovery and delivery squads, addressing constraints and dependencies.
- Prioritizes meeting regulatory and statutory requirements, addressing associated risks.
- Prepares communication materials to explain requirements and future landscape changes effectively.
- Resolves blockers promptly and engages in proactive planning.
- Builds strong relationships with business SMEs to ensure program and business activities are cohesive.
- Acts as key conduit between the business and Data & Enterprise Technology fostering a strong sense of collaboration
- Works with architects and DET teams to keep data roadmaps updated and aligned with business needs.

**What you’ll bring**
- Tertiary Qualification (Business, commerce, Accounting, Technology)
- Extensive experience in delivering Finance transformation programs and preparing business requirements documents.
- Strong background in collaborating with technical teams to communicate requirements and support delivery.
- Skilled in supporting technical business analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications and sign off on requirements.
- Proficient in developing presentation materials to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Understanding of ETL technologies, and integration from data warehouses to 3rd party software-as-a-service (SaaS) technologies
- Some experience collaborating with data & analytics teams with knowledge of Consumer, Commercial or Personal Injury Insurance
