An exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced learning and development professional to join the Community Correctional Services (CCS) Learning and Development team as Learning & Development Consultant is now available.

**About the Business Unit**

The CCS Learning and Development (L&D) Consultant is part of the Community Correction Services (CCS) L&D team in the Corrections and Justice Services Workforce Planning and Development branch. The team manages and coordinates development and delivery of L&D programs and specialised L&D projects for CCS operational managers and practitioners.

**About the Role**

The role works closely with CCS managers and practitioners across the state to provide a strong learning and development (L&D) consultancy service, and a strong background in L&D best practice will be needed, from needs analysis through to evaluation. The role will also design and deliver L&D programs both on remote learning platforms and in-person, and the role will suit someone who can utilise their strong design and facilitation skills to deliver high-quality L&D across CCS.

This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-paced, friendly, and dedicated L&D team in a consultancy role. The willingness to travel across the state occasionally will be needed, with some overnight stays in more remote locations a possibility.

The role is a key member of the CCS L&D leadership structure and will play an integral part of business planning and quality management, with line management responsibility.

Some of your duties will include:

- Provide leadership development programs, coaching, and support for CCS culture initiatives.
- Design learning resources and programs using contemporary learning delivery methods.
- Advanced facilitation of training, meetings, forums, and focus groups.

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Advanced learning consultation and facilitation skills.
- Leadership development, culture change, business planning, and coaching.
- Certification in HBDI, Core Strengths, MBTI, or other OD profiling tool - or willingness to undertake.
- Program and curriculum design and development.
- Project management.

**Qualifications**
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE) or equivalent is desirable
- Certification in (or wiliness to attain) an OD profiling tool (such as HBDI, MBTI, or Core Strengths)
