**The Opportunity**
As the Payroll Assistant, you will be accountable for supporting the payroll manager to deliver an accurate and timely payroll service to the organisation. Providing additional project and system administration support across Macquarie Services Including People & Culture.
This is part-time opportunity working 3 days per week.
This is a great opportunity for a pro-active and self-motivated Payroll Assistant that has previous payroll experience and is looking for flexibility in terms of working schedule.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Providing support in preparing monthly payrolls such new starter set up and employee transfers and promotions.
- Supporting the delivery of accurate processing of timesheets, payroll changes, record management and termination payments.
- Support payroll processing including data entry, checking and processing of information.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation in regard to PAYG, payroll tax and FBT.

**Your ideal skills & experience**:

- 5 years’ experience in a systems administrator or finance business analyst type role
- Systems administration experience of the general ledger [Great Plains and Microsoft Dynamics software an advantage]
- Strong data modelling and data definition experience
- Demonstrated skill in stakeholder management and maintaining effective relationships with users, including training programmes
- Delivering within an agile methodology framework for continuous improvement
