We are currently seeking an experienced **Accounts Clerk **to be part of our **Finance team located in Rothwell.**

**About the role**:
The role will see you successfully deliver accurate and timely accounting support to our retail dealerships.
- As an overview you will:_
- Ensure that all accounting entries are accurately posted
- All revenue and cost of sale (Vehicle, Finance / Insurance and Aftermarket) is correctly accounted for in the system
- Flag any variances identified
- Code all expense items without Purchase Orders sending for Management approval
- Responsible for all cash handling
- Managing the daily collection,
- Reconciliation to system and deposit in the bank of cash receipts.
- Maintain accurate Balance Sheets and monthly reconciliations Ensure all outstanding items are closed, including the chasing of receivables.

- To be successful in this role you will have:_
- Proven experience working in a fast paced commercial environment (Automotive experience preferred)
- Proven ability to meet tight reporting deadlines
- Proven ability to work independently and to a high standard
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organisation, planning and execution skills
- Proven ability with Microsoft office, MS Excel
