**Laundry Assistant** **_ Permanent Part-time_**_ _**_Opportunities Available_** **About the Role** We are currently seeking a self-motivated and committed Laundry Assistant to provide a support service to our laundry team in a Permanent Part-time capacity at Joondalup Health Campus. This role will report to the Laundry Supervisor. **About You** To succeed in this role, you will be a positive and effective team player with excellent time management, organisational and communication skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be dedicated to providing a high-quality service. You will also demonstrate: - Consistent attention to detail and care in day to day activities - Ability to stand for long periods of time and manage labour intensive tasks - Ability to work autonomously and in a team - Availability to work Afternoon and Evening shifts - Sorting through soiled and dirty linen - separating by fabric, cleaning techniques or dirt content - Loading cleaning machines, washers and dryers - Sort and count linen as removed from dryers - Hang, fold and wrap linen as required - Operating machinery - Maintaining legislated workplace health and safety practices - A current National Police Clearance (not older than 6 months), Working with Children and a visa with working rights in Australia are essential requirements for this role. **Why Joondalup Health Campus?** Joondalup Health Campus is the largest health care facility in Perth’s northern suburbs, providing 24-hour acute care from an integrated public and private campus.
