1. Carers / Support WorkersResponsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming)
- Support with meals, mobility, and daily living activities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and report changes in resident health and wellbeing
Responsibilities:
- Support therapists in delivering rehabilitation and therapy programs
- Assist residents with exercise routines and mobility support
- Set up and maintain therapy equipment safely
- Record and report progress to the supervising therapist
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and serving meals for residents
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow food safety standards
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Support meal distribution to residents
Responsibilities:
- Collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute residents' laundry
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment safely
- Ensure infection control standards are followed
- Keep laundry areas clean and organized
Responsibilities:
- Clean resident rooms, common areas, and facilities
- Safely dispose of waste and maintain hygiene standards
- Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
Requirements (all roles):
- Previous experience in aged care, disability, or healthcare settings (preferred)
- Current Police Clearance and/or WWCC (as required)
- Flu vaccination and COVID-19 vaccination evidence (mandatory)
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- Manual Handling Certificate
- NDIS Clearance
