**Your new company**
Our client is the sole professional body for actuaries in Australia, they represents the interests of its members to Government, the business community and the general public. They assess risks through long-term analyses, modelling and scenario planning and provide expert comment on a broad range of business-related problems. This unrivalled expertise enables the profession to comment on a range of business-related problems including enterprise risk management, finance and investment, prudential regulation, retirement income policy, general insurance, life insurance and health financing.
They are looking for 2 Comms & Marketing specialist to join on a contracting base between 1 - 3 month with an option to be extended.
**Your new role**
Contributes to the delivery of progressive communications strategies and associated products and services to promote brand ‘Actuary’ and ensure that members’ experiences positively impact the Institute’s growth and position in the market.
- Calendar is populated accurately to ensure timely distribution of communications across multiple platforms.
- Continuous monitoring of content calendar occurs to ensure accuracy and relevance and on time delivery.
- Responsible for the timely and effective promotion of the Institute’s small events, products and services.
- Regular consultation occurs with team members, colleagues, external stakeholders and sources to collate information of relevance to members, HQ team members, industry professionals and the public.
- Ensure content (webpages, documents, videos, audios, images) has appropriate tone of voice, is accurate, engaging, innovative and relevant to all stakeholders including members, HQ team members, industry professionals and the public.
- Delivery of engaging, innovative promotion of Institute small events, products and services.
- Improved end user experience as indicated by member feedback and reported analytics.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- High level of ability to communicate clearly in writing using the appropriate tone and format to meet members’ needs.
- Experience / knowledge in:
- Content marketing
- Campaign Monitor
- Photoshop / PremierePro
- HTML coding
- Social media content writing
- Excellent time management, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to handle multiple projects and work well under pressure.
- Problem solver.
- A demonstrated ‘can do’ attitude.
