Service Coordinator

Our client, a leader in providing Forklift & Equipment services, is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join their team as a Service Coordinator. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining outstanding customer relationships, overseeing road service technicians, and ensuring the efficient management of service operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate Road Service Technicians to meet on-time delivery for customer requirements, achieving cost and delivery targets.
- Collaborate with the Service Manager to identify training needs and skills development for the team.
- Review service job cards daily, ensuring all extra work is captured and acted upon, and retail work is quoted through service admin.
- Monitor and maintain the proper flow of work orders, invoicing, warranty claims, and vendor invoicing.
- Report job status to the Service Manager, ensuring targets are met and costs are monitored.
- Work closely with the Parts department to ensure inventory availability for timely repairs.
- Maintain customer rapport through regular communication and ensure a high level of customer support.
- Inform clients of response times and update client information on the computer program.
- Maintain customer appointments with excellent time management and planning.
- Resolve customer disputes in consultation with the Service Manager.
- Maximise recovery of retail revenue and control technician overtime.
**Qualifications/Experience**:
- Strong customer service focus with a professional and can-do attitude.
- Strong mechanical aptitude or trade qualified.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
- Exceptional time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to resolve customer issues effectively.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
