Cloud Dev Ops Lead

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Cloud DevOps Lead to join the AWS Practice in DXC
**Essential Job Functions**:
- Assist in cloud engineering tasks and projects, supporting project success.
- Collaborate with team members to implement cloud solutions and best practices.
- Seek guidance and mentorship from experienced team members.
- Participate in cloud training programs and certification coursework.
- Contribute to basic troubleshooting and support tasks.
- Stay informed about cloud technology updates and industry trends.
- Effective team management and work allocation
- Customer Presentations and Demonstrations
**Basic Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Relevant experience, typically 7+ years of experience in software engineering or VOIP / Telecom industry
- Experience with AWS Connect / Contact Centre and Call flows methodologies
- CTI / API Integrations - working knowledge
- Front End and Backend Development working knowledge a plus
- Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies
- Coding and debugging skills - Python, React or other applicable language
- Infrastructure as Code - Terraform and / or Cloudformation / AWS CDK.
- Pre-Sales knowledge / Cost Modeling
- Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork
- Relevant AWS cloud certifications and experience - AWS Architecture or DevOps
