**Description**:
Right at Home ACT Canberra is currently seeking entry-level caregivers with a passion for caring for others.

As a care worker, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients while ensuring their safety and well-being.

**Responsibilities**:
Perform domestic tasks, including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and household organization, to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.

Assist in their daily living activities, both at home and in the community.

Support clients in achieving their goals by being creative and resourceful.

Ensure the delivery of high-quality person-centered support services.

Accompany clients to community-based activities and appointments, providing transportation assistance when necessary.

Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in accordance with company policies and procedures.

**Payrate** - $35.36 per hour

**Qualifications**:
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.

Possess a valid driver's license with comprehensive insurance.

COVID vaccination (minimum of 2 doses).

National Police Check completed within the last 3 years.

First Aid & CPR Certificate.

NDIS Workers Screening check and NDIS Orientation Module Certificate, or willingness to obtain them upon employment.

Own a smartphone (iOS or Android).

Demonstrated commitment to regular and consistent shift schedules.

Ability to support individuals with intellectual, mental health, and/or physical disabilities.

Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
