Road Sweeper Driver

**About the role**

As Road Sweeper Driver, you will be part of the Works and Field Services Team, and responsible for cleaning the streets across the city. Your efficiency in your work will directly benefit the environment and the community.

Your main focus will be the day-to-day operation of road sweepers. This role predominantly covers the day shift but as part of the City Cleaning Team, roles need to cover both day and afternoon shifts as required.

Responsibilities will include:

- Sweeping and cleaning of gutters and roads based on programmed and ad hoc work
- Proper disposal of litter to reduce environmental impacts
- Cleaning and maintenance of machinery

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Current MR Class Licence
- Experience in the operation of a street sweeper or similar dual control vehicle or the ability to rapidly acquire the experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Ipswich area

This is a permanent position, LGE Level 4 - 6 position with a salary commencing at $64,570 plus 12.5% superannuation.
