Field Worker

**About the role**

As Field Worker (Roads and Drainage) you will be part of the roads and drainage district team and responsible for undertaking general labouring duties and plant/truck operations associated with the maintenance of roads and drainage infrastructure across the city.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Undertake detailed maintenance of roads with limited supervision
- Operate plant and equipment
- Participate in planning, hazard identification and risk assessment of work activities
- Work as a team to complete good quality maintenance and provide feedback to the team, council officers and customers

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Current C Class Drivers Licence
- Experience in civil construction (highly desirable)
- Current Medium Rigid (MR) Drivers Licence (highly desirable)
- A focus on enhancing the quality life for the community

A pre-employment medical will be required for this role (Including drug and alcohol testing)
