**Role Summary**:
The Category Manager is a newly created opportunity in our Supply Chain Team based at our Perth office. Reporting to the Procurement Manager you will play an integral role in managing and overseeing strategic sourcing and contract management activities.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Draft, negotiate, implement and manage contracts required by the relevant business units.
- Communicate, influence and partner with stakeholders in relation to category strategies, supplier performance and contract life cycle activities.
- Develop collaborative relationships with suppliers and establish processes to maximise value.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Tertiary qualifications in commerce, strategic procurement, supply chain or relevant experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of category management and strategic sourcing experience.
- Highly developed commercial and contract negotiation skills.
- Sound knowledge of SAP and Ariba.
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead effectively across multi-functional teams and interface with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
