**The Role**
The ACTSS Technical Publications officer will support the continuing development and delivery of ACTSS organisation outcomes through effective technical publication management. Through adhering to relevant policies and procedures they will perform straightforward to moderately complex technical data reviews, publication reviews, drawings, modelling and undertake publication drafting work. They will be responsible for the management the ACTSS Technical library, ensuring all AAP publications receive a page check during each calendar year.
**About our Team**
The Army Aviation Systems Branch (AASB) purpose is to deliver military aviation systems to the capability managers. AASB is responsible for the acquisition and through-life support of all Army helicopters and tactical unmanned aerial systems through both Project Offices (PO) and Systems Program Offices (SPO) within Australia and overseas. Join the Utility Helicopter Systems Program Office (UHSPO) and be a part of a team that is dedicated to enhancing the Australian Army's helicopter capability through the acquisition of 40 UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters. As a member of UHSPO, you will have the opportunity to work on a high-profile project and contribute to the development of a sustainment organisation that will meet the strategic needs of the Australian Army, whilst also gaining valuable experience and professional development in a dynamic, inclusive and collaborative environment.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Be required to liaise with several end users of technical publications concerning any publications issues.
- Be the ACTSS point of contact for all technical publication related inquires.
- Assist engineering staff with the production and distribution of modifications.
- Conduct and contribute to the development of technical documents for review.
