**Job Description**:
This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for a motivated, energetic and switched on person looking to kick start their career in IT/Broadcast support. You will be joining a small, but highly experienced team of Broadcast IT Support professionals to assist with delivering top class support to the News, Operations and Sales Staff in the Nine Adelaide Office. This will include general IT support, as well as support for broadcast equipment and local servers.
You will receive coaching, training and mentoring from a highly experienced and supportive team. The environment is one of continuous improvement and development, where you will be learning new things everyday.
Day to day you will:
- Provide level 1 support for a range of broadcast centric systems and general IT support to sales team
- Regularly perform equipment test and tag
- PC\Laptop re-image as per news and sales requirements
- Contribute to the technology knowledge base by creating troubleshooting documentations
- Keep the workspaces clean and tidy
- Perform other tech duties as reasonably required
This role will require you to work across a 7 day roster, with rotating shifts between the hours of 8am and 7pm Monday to Friday. Weekend shifts are between 2pm and 7pm, and are shared across the team (you can expect to be rostered approximately 1 weekend every 4 weeks).
**Qualifications**:
You will have a keen interest in pursuing a career in the IT space and be hungry to learn and build your career from the ground up. You will be excited to get your foot in the door of Australia’s largest locally owned media company, and motivated by the multitude of opportunities if presents.
In order to be successful for this role, you will have:
- Experience working in a customer-focussed environment (hospitality, retail etc.)
- The ability to learn new technology, including IT/Broadcast systems
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience working under pressure and adhering to processes and procedures
A Certificate II or Certificate III in electronics or computer science or equivalent would be highly desirable, as would any experience in an IT Support environment.
