**Your new role**
As a Service Desk Analyst, you will be responsible for providing technical support to employees and ensuring that our IT systems are running smoothly. You will be working closely with other members of the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for installing and configuring software and hardware, maintaining and updating IT systems, and ensuring that all IT systems are secure and up-to-date.
- Appropriate ICT related qualifications or equivalent industry recognised professional qualification, or relevant industry experience in a medium or large organisation.
- Awareness of IT Service Management best practices, methodologies and frameworks (e.g. ITIL, SIAM etc).
- Experience in delivering, maintaining and supporting end-user standard operating environments across a range of devices with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
- Knowledge of contemporary ICT trends, developments and standards
- Ability to work at various metropolitan sites, occasionally undertake travel to regional sites and work outside business hours as required.
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills
**What you'll need to succeed**
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience in an IT support role
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of hardware and software systems
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure
