**THE ROLE**
Reporting to the Director, Priority Service Design Projects, the Manager Children and Families Service Design team is responsible for the delivery of a collaborative program of work across the department and government to ensure that children, young people and families needing support receive timely access to the right service for their needs.
The role requires a strong, effective, and highly accountable leader to build and maintain constructive stakeholder relationships to design and deliver evidence-informed initiatives and policies to improve outcomes for clients.
**Are you**:
- Interested in driving change to improve services and outcomes for children and families in Victoria?
- Able to work collaboratively to achieve goals in a dynamic, cross-sector environment, and influence to achieve change?
- Highly organised with excellent communication, planning and problem-solving skills?
**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Provide strategic and managerial oversight of the Service Design team.
- Provide high quality business intelligence, authoritative advice and sound policy recommendations to senior management and government based on comprehensive research.
- Review and report on high priority issues and service demand, risks and trends and prepare and present comprehensive reports, ministerial briefs and cabinet and agency submissions on complex issues.
