**The Opportunity**
The Regulation Directorate sits within the Transport Policy and Regulation Division and is responsible for driving the Government’s regulation and policy initiatives and ensuring appropriate compliance, behaviour and safe access across our transport networks.

The Project Coordinator, Driver Training Industry Reform, is responsible for project managing the delivery of the Government’s reform of the driver training industry.

The position will report to the Manager, Driver Licensing Standards and will provide oversight and drive reforms including development and implementation of new systems and products across a number of different streams including IT based platforms, procurement and integration of mobile electronic systems, training materials, service delivery frameworks, finance, and legislation and policy.

**About You**

This role requires highly developed analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record in advising on and creating specialised and innovative solutions, processes, and discipline related policies. Comprehensive knowledge of the issues, risks, trends, and directions associated with delivering significant reform particularly within social, economic, and commercial contexts is crucial.

**Special Conditions**
- A National Police Check (NPC) which is required to be renewed every three years.
- A Department for Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (WWCC) which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.

**Tenure of Vacancy**
Temporary appointment up to 2 years.

**Remuneration**
ASO8 - $121,107 to $125,679 pa + superannuation.
