Due to significant growth and ongoing delivery success with our clients, Turner & Townsend's Infrastructure team in Brisbane are looking for an **Associate Director (Quantity Surveyor)** to work across a variety of different projects in the Rail, Airports, Utilities, and many more. We are looking for someone who wants to be a leader in the industry, deliver large and complex projects while also helping mentor the future generation.

We work on projects of all sizes from one-off developments to mega-programmes, from planning the future development across Infrastructure projects to site based construction of individual projects, while helping the largest companies in the world. We cover everything from leading teams, planning works, tracking progress and business case delivery to bringing assets into use.

In an **Associate Director (Quantity Surveyor) **role, you will have knowledge in:

- Establishing effective estimating strategies with our clients across their portfolios and projects.
- Leading the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters.
- Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants.
- Business development to expand existing client base through growth of client base and services
- Supporting growing cost management capability and capacity across Turner & Townsend
- Estimating across all AACE classes of estimate and associate report writing.
- Ability to undertake both cost planning and estimating and integrate with a team of cost managers
- Conduct estimate assurance reviews and associated report writing

**Qualifications**:

- ** 12+ years plus industry experience**:

- Relevant Tertiary Experience preferred
- Full working rights and be currently living in Australia.
- A recognised Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Engineering or similar
- Track record of engaging and maintaining client confidence throughout delivery.
- Clear understanding of strategies for growth with the ability to contribute to growth in line with the local markets.
- Ability to function collaboratively and inclusively in a team with the ability to mentor junior members.
- Ability to produce both top down and bottom up cost plans and parametric cost models
- Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills.
- Demonstrable reputation for challenge, innovation and continued improvement.
- Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your clients.
- Experience in business development and growing brands through strong client relationships.
- A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from project conception stage, through all of the operational stages to completion and post-project review.
- Good knowledge and experience of the main project management concepts, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage a team and control multiple projects/client commissions.
