**About Us**:

**About the Role**:
The role of HOD Teaching and Learning is based on the secondary campus and may have a small teaching load associated with it. The HOD Teaching and Learning will also work closely in connection with the primary campus leadership team and teaching staff to deliver the pedagogical approach for the College.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Lead the school department, in alignment with the school priorities and strategic plan in collaboration with the school leadership team, to commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Display high quality leadership that sets high standards, and directly influences the engagement, improvement, achievement and wellbeing of staff and students.
- Leading pedagogical practices that focus on empowering students to experience academic growth and success through inclusive practices that enable access, participation purposeful engagement and yearly growth in learning.
- Be futures oriented and strategic in the leadership of faculty and school improvement strategies.
- Lead professional learning opportunities that considers collegial engagement with and between staff.
- Manage the human, financial, facilities and curriculum resources of the school department to achieve goals.
