Yeronga State High School is located in Brisbane's inner south side. We are a medium-sized school with approximately 955 students. About the Role
Lead the Teaching and Learning to develop, articulate, and commit to a shared educational vision focused on ensuring consistent practices across the school, particularly in moderation, implementation of Version 9 of The Australian Curriculum, and establishing a whole-school approach to pedagogy. A key focus will also be identifying and supporting gifted and talented students who require extension. A strong understanding of curriculum development and commitment to fostering student growth is essential for this role.As the Head of Department, you will:

- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
