The Strategic Rail Operations Lead is responsible for providing consultancy services in the Rail Operations market in the APAC region. The role will be responsible for project delivery and project management, and for positioning and winning projects involving a range of services. The role will be instrumental in collaborating with commercial, project management, technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver, and operate a range of projects. The role will support management of the Rail Operations service offering, in terms of team development and growth, building technical capability and growing the rail operations portfolio. Key to this role will be the interface with GID delivery centres to improve delivery capability to meet targets.

You will be a technical and project lead for rail operations projects, as well as providing technical guidance for rail operations advice on large strategic consulting and design projects, delivering technically excellent transport outcomes and consultancy services. You will help drive business development and be responsible for work winning, identify the next opportunities and support the winning of opportunities.

Through regular industry participation, you will develop and maintain strong key client relationships, identify emerging opportunities with clients and act as a trusted advisor to a select group of Jacobs key clients and represent the ANZ Rail Systems team at key thought leadership events. You will help maintain compliance with Jacobs QA procedures, including the deliverables review QA process. You will facilitate the technical development of more junior resources to meet market requirements and engage with high performers in a team environment to facilitate knowledge sharing and coaching. #ANZTransport #LI-AP1 #ANZRail #APMETransport

**Here’s What You’ll Need**:

- Extensive knowledge and breadth of leading operational concepts i.e. concept of operations, operational scenario planning
- Knowledge and experience of developing rail asset maintenance strategies i.e. concept of maintenance and annual works plan
- Understanding of the interfaces between rail transport planning, rail systems engineering and transport modelling
- Extensive experience in data analysis and manipulation
