We're well positioned to achieve our mission but we need the right people to ensure it happens. We're looking to scale quickly but responsibly as we embark on an exciting new stage of growth. Headquartered in London, you'll be joining a global company and working across talented cross-functional teams to drive innovation and make a significant impact. **The Role** Our Procurement Managers play a crucial role in driving procurement excellence. You will develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for our customers to optimise costs, enhance supplier performance, and mitigate risks. This includes leading complex negotiations with key suppliers, ensuring alignment with company objectives and building strong relationships. Additionally, you will oversee the entire supplier lifecycle, from onboarding and evaluation to performance management and risk assessment. You'll be reporting to a Team Leader and working closely with the rest of the buying and customer success team, responsible for delivering excellent outcomes to our customers by negotiating SaaS purchases and renewals with their vendors. **Responsibilities** - Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for customers - Lead complex negotiations with key SaaS vendors - Oversee the entire supplier lifecycle, from onboarding to risk assessment - Act as a trusted advisor to customers on SaaS procurement decisions - Leverage data-driven insights to optimize SaaS spend and maximize value - Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes **Requirements**: - You will bring up to 5 years of commercial experience in a recurring revenue environment - You'll be experienced in high volume and high value transactions in a buying, selling or facilitating capacity; £Xm preferred - You'll be an active listener that negotiates with empathy and understands negotiating isn't about "winning" - You'll be a creative thinker that challenges customers and suppliers to help reach desired outcomes - You'll be an amazing people-person Exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers is a must - SaaS / IT Procurement understanding beneficial - You'll have demonstrable success in delivering results working cross-functionally - With a flexible, agile, and adaptable approach; used to wearing multiple hats and you won't get easily overwhelmed **Why join Vertice?** - Be a part of a fast-growing, innovative startup that is changing the way businesses buy and sell SaaS. - Work with passionate and talented teams that value your contributions and expertise. - Be part of a culture that promotes a growth mindset, transparency, collaboration, understanding and diversity. - Share in our success with equity options. **Final things to note** - if you could be a good fit anywhere else in our business_ _LI-Hybrid_
