Position Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing and Communication Manager to join Capella Sydney team. This is your chance to work with and be mentored by an experienced, highly driven, close-knit team of passionate industry professionals, and to part of world-renowned luxury hotel brand.

The Marketing & Communications Manager is a pivotal member of the Sales & Marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, this role assists in managing all matters related to media and public relations, social media marketing, traditional and digital marketing, collateral and content creation and brand partnerships.

You will be inspired to activate marketing briefs across our departments as well as execute brand initiatives, assist with managing deliverables and will constantly push the boundaries ensuring marketing strategies exceed all expectations and deliver objectives as set out in the annual marketing plan. Your ideas will be welcomed and encouraged, and this is where you will really unleash your potential and bring those big ideas to life.

We are looking for a creative, polished, professional team player with a positive attitude, who prides themselves on their extreme attention to detail, exceeding expectations and thrives on a challenge in a fast-paced environment. Exposure working within the Hospitality and Tourism industry will allow you to hit the ground running, however applicants from all industries are encouraged to apply.

**Talent Profile**:
Tertiary qualification in Marketing or a relevant discipline preferred
Adobe InDesign Certification highly regarded
2-3 years' experience in a Marketing & Communications role
Sound understanding of traditional/digital/social media marketing
Experience managing and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Previous experience within luxury brand/hospitality/travel sectors advantageous
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office essential
Intermediate knowledge of Adobe InDesign/ Acrobat Professional essential
Intermediate knowledge of Adobe lllustrator/Photoshop highly regarded
Copywriting experience highly regarded
