We are looking for an entry level/experienced Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Trainer and assessor or an experienced technician to try something new and be a part of our growing team. If you are an experienced HVAC mechanic or already an existing trainer and assessor in the Air-conditioning and Refrigeration field, and you want to transition your career path to become a fully qualified trainer and upskill the next generation of tradies, we want to invest in you.

**About Your role**:
Due to continuing growth in our student numbers, our college is looking for full-time/part-time/casual instructors in our Bankstown, Sydney campus. To be a successful trainer, you will need to have an in-depth knowledge of the electrical industry and a passion for mentioning and passing on your knowledge to the next generations. If you don’t have previous teaching experience, we will provide you the training and pay for relevant courses for you to become a trainer and assessor in the industry.

**Your duties and responsibilities**:

- Leading engaging training sessions, sharing your practical knowledge and hands-on experience.
- Working with other stakeholders to implement effective and holistic programs, ensuring successful student outcomes
- Deliver both theory and practical workshop training
- Conduct relevant tutorial classes, exams and assessments
- Supervise students and provide support as required
- identify training needs and develop training programs as required

**Your Requirements**:

- You are a qualified HVAC technician or you hold Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration
- You obtain the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent or willing to obtain if you do not have previous teaching background.
- You should possess in-depth knowledge and understanding of electrical principles, standards and the air-conditioning and refrigeration industry.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Passionate about teaching the next generation of students and making them competent

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission
- Performance bonus
