**About this role**
The Principal Nursing Workload and Staffing Advisor is a senior position that provides high-level strategic workforce analysis, including modelling and costings to provide advice and support NSW Health entities on staffing allocations, respond to staffing claims, and support negotiations regarding salaries and conditions claims.

The Nursing Workload Advisor works closely with the Industrial, Policy, and Safe Staffing teams within the Ministry of Health as well as districts across the public health system.

**About You**
- You will be a problem solver with a self-directed, solution-focused attitude who can think creatively to identify possible staffing solutions having regard to broad ramifications in an industrially sensitive environment.
- You will have strong communication skills to develop relationships with stakeholders and communicate staffing options and implications.
- You will have strong analytical skills to identify appropriate data sources and analyse staffing claims and solutions.
- You will have senior nursing management experience within the public health system, particularly in relation to staffing.

This highly valued role is in the Workplace Relations Branch of the People, Culture and Governance Division of the NSW Ministry of Health. As well as providing HR services for the Ministry, the Branch sets the employment terms and conditions for NSW health staff and develops and implements workplace policies, advice, and various workplace relations initiatives for NSW Health entities.
