Frankie & George, a busy CBD café & restaurant, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Evening Bar Supervisor to join our team. We pride ourselves on quality and providing an excellent guest experience. Our focus is on creating a positive culture and bringing in team members and leaders who share our vision. The Evening Bar Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the bar operations, ensuring smooth service, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise the bar area and ensure all operations run smoothly during evening shifts.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including wine, beer, spirits and coffee, according to our quality standards.
- Manage and coordinate evening staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure the bar is well-stocked with necessary supplies and manage inventory effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Train new bar staff and provide ongoing training to existing staff to maintain high service standards.
- Monitor and manage cash handling procedures and bar transactions.
- Create and maintain a welcoming and positive atmosphere for guests.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a bar setting.
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a similar role.
- Some barista experience.
- Strong knowledge of various beverages, including cocktails, wine, and coffee.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Comfortable working independently and making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and Saturdays (no Sunday work required).

**Preferred Skills**
- Knowledge of inventory management and ordering procedures.
- Experience in creating and implementing bar promotions and specials.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 38 per week
